Acolyte wasn’t ashamed of having the Star Wars name and was about characters I care about.
Andor… The characters were annoying, unlikable, the pacing was non-existent, and it just felt like it wanted to be its own thing unrelated to Star Wars but the director could only work on a pre-existing IP.
Nicest thing I can say is that it made me appreciate Rogue One more… Because Andor dies in it.
I’m not afraid of having a hot take. I actually thought only Far Right Trolls whining that the cast was women and minorities hated Acolyte, you made me google the more public reception… and I’m genuinely surprised people don’t like it.
