I’m all for character diversity but frankly they still have to have this thing called being a good character. And being a person of color or whoever they are isn’t a character trait
Edit: not a character trait on its own. But it can be used in interesting ways. For example I saw an ad for this one tv show where a black woman travels back in time to the colonial era and has to deal with prejudice and slavery which seems like not checking the inclusivity box but then also using it to make a really interesting premise. And characters made to be inclusive don’t even have to be that complex or central, like I said before, they should be good characters
This. But I still really hate the way anti sjw behave because they don’t wanna see good characters, they just don’t want to see people of races other than white people in a film
