I mean, I imagine crime rates tend to fall when you get Judge Death out here to declare that being alive is a crime, and if they’re already committing that crime best to lock them up before they do something more serious…
I’m having a hard time finding data on the number of people incarcerated in New York City as opposed to New York State as a whole, but what I’m seeing is that incarceration rates fell along with crime rates.
