I buy 4-5 pairs for $10-$20 at cheap stores and even gas stations. The utility is nearly identical, I get multiple fashion choices, and the easy (affordable and available everywhere) replaceability compensates for the slightly lower quality.
Helps that I’m not a brand loyalist or in need of expensive status symbols.
