The father of the teen suspected in the Georgia school shooting has been arrested, the Georgia bureau of investigation has said.

Colin Gray, 54, was arrested by the bureau in connection to the shooting at Apalachee high school. Colin is the father of Colt Gray, the 14-year-old who is suspected of fatally shooting two students and two teachers with an assault-style rifle at the high school on Wednesday.

He is charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second degree murder and eight counts of cruelty to children, the Georgia bureau said.

    The fact that Ar15s are common doesn’t change their origin, which was a firearm manufactured by Armalite for the Army, to be used to kill people. When the military adopted it, they called it the m16. Civilian versions had the fully auto nerfed.

    It’s a weapon of and for war. Always has been, always will be. It’s inferior to same caliber hunting rifles, which shoot more accurately and greater airspeed and cause more damage to the target, except a hunting rifle is loads bigger and holds ~5 rounds. 5 round clips are how we won Europe in the 40s, they aren’t nothing, but they aren’t 100rd magazines or backpacks of linked ammunition. I say this as an owner. It shoots worse and weaker than hunting rifles but faster…that’s made to kill people. If you’re hunting rabbit with an AR they’ll be no rabbit left whenever you make contact.
