Information bubbles. The bourgeoisie owns pretty much everything in the US now. Including all of the media. Basically, if you have two brain cells to rub together, you have seeked out media that is more honest. If you don’t have the time or the brain cells, you basically sit in front of Fox News all day. This means that many Americans disagree about what the facts are. Those people that vote for Trump aren’t racist or stupid. They’re just misinformed. And as a result lots of people are going to be hurt because a handful of people with more money than makes sense control everything and are afraid that nice things for everyone will cut into their bottom line.
