lemmy was “spammed” with comments about sync for lemmy.

Thunder works on my graphenos pixel without problems. No bugs, nothing. It works as intended. I can write and edit posts. It looks very polished. It’s beautiful, it’s material you.

I don’t get why people “freak out” about sync. I could freak about thunder! Thank you for writing the app!

I don’t even remember anyone talking about sync on Reddit. Everyone always mentioned rif, Apollo, or baconreader.

I know it was one of the most popular, but it was always Relay for me.

Hence why I like Thunder so much.

I’m trying out thunder as I type this. It’s pretty slick. Not a huge fan of needing to swipe to upvotes and reply, but other than that it seems really good

Not a huge fan of needing to swipe to upvotes and reply, […]

It’s a acquired taste for sure. But now I really like it. Keeps the UI clean.

I’m digging it. It’s quick. It seems to handle the inbox the best so far. There’s some really nice graphic accents that are subtle I enjoy too.

Yeah I was a Relay user too and Thunder is definitely the Lemmy app that comes closest to recreating that experience.

I was one of the few chiming in about Sync, but I was definitely in the minority. The vast majority used one of the three you mentioned, primarily RiF it seemed.
