75 degrees = 68 degrees. No wonder I couldn’t get things to adhere well sometimes.

As a side note, the temp varies wildly along the plate base. An enclosure would definitely help here.

Has anyone else tested the actual temps versus the set/displayed temps and noticed a difference?

    Exact temp doesnt matter, you just need to find best settings for your printer and filament. Imagine adding glass on top, thermistor would read the same temp or even higher, but your surface would be cooler.

    Heat your bed and leave it on for 20 min before printing so it has time to heat up properly across the whole bed. Enclosure can help, better heater will have more equal temp, some guys even have insulation under the bed heater for the same reason, but you will never eliminate that completely. Its nice to know temps on more than one spot and thermal camera is god in that game
