If this is a problem for you, I’d suggest migrating accounts using LASIM to an instance that doesn’t block it (such as lemm.ee).

An official announcement has been made:
lemm.ee or lemmy.ml are more open large-ish instances. I keep an alt for specific hobbies.
In fact this is my hobby account, and my ‘main’ account is on a country specific instance.
