It’s no secret that Lemmy is shaping up to be a viable alternative to Reddit. The issue it faces however is that it’s still relatively niche and not many people know about it. I propose that we change this. By contacting the mods of large subreddits and asking them to make and promote relevant Lemmy communities we could substantially increase the amount of people who discover the fediverse. What’s more, I don’t think this is would be a hard sell considering many mods are already pissed off with Reddit due to their API changes. I believe that this is the time to act, so this is a call to arms, to help grow the fediverse into the future of social media!

That’s a lot of words to justify calling people “unnatural”, “mistakes”, and “wrong”, for the way they were born.

Have you ever tried accepting people as they are, without disgust? To accept in your heart that exceptions are not abominations, but precious opportunities to make sure we did not close ourselves off to see wonder of the world?

      “mistakes” … abominations

I have no problems whatsoever with someone who’s intersex. It’s an unfortunate condition and they need to be supported in every way possible. I would never call someone with this condition an “abomination”, contrary to your (ridiculous) straw-man.

      “unnatural”

Looking at sex as something non-binary is unnatural, I’ve already explained why in my previous posts.

      “wrong”

Yes, denying reality, hurting others and being a hypocrite to fulfill a fetish or earning money is wrong. This is what’s happening, and I’m justified in opposing it.

If you want to support them in every way, and they tell you that they’re happy and fine as they are in their space between the binary phenotypes just leave them be and accept them as they are, how do you think calling them “unnatural” makes you sound like?

And what is “redoing society” supposed to mean? Nothing is going to change for you if you let them be. Nothing. You can date and have kids and get divorced just as before. The reason people are making noise is because those people are targets of genocidal rhetoric. Because they were forced into roles which they do not fit into, see operations directly after birth so that someone can check “male” or “female” on a piece of paper with a 1/3 or such chance of getting it right. Is that the kind of “support” you’re advocating? And if “redoing society” means accepting people instead of trying to tell them what they’re “supposed” to be then what the hell would be wrong with that.
