    Here in the Philippines, literally everywhere has become a 15-minute-city because of sari-sari stores. I think other countries should copy that concept. Or maybe they already have something similar?

      I googled sari-sari store. In US we have stuff like this in big cities (bodegas, corner markets etc).

      But even in fairly densely populated suburbs (like my town has +2,000 people per square kilometer), people need to walk about 30 minutes to get to a store that sells produce. However, you could walk about 10 minutes and get to a gas station that sells alright sandwiches and cigarettes.
