      It seems more of a gimmick to get people talking about Ring (so job done).

      Just print a QR code on a metal tag.

      You could use an NFC tag, even print a QR code on the back for redundancy.

      I’m sure there are already services to engrave QR codes on dog tags. Looking on Amazon I can get 2 for the same price as this one.
