The way I see it is that while the use case of the app is disgusting and should be illegal, it doesn’t do anything that people already can’t do with photo editing. AI just makes it more accesible, just like now popular AI chatbots, etc.
This will hopefully go the same way as upskirting, becoming illegal explicitly or bundled under some other law. But I have few hopes it will happen fast.
