Hello. Like many of you I am here from Reddit. A very old and not well known feature of Reddit was to hide posts that you had downvoted. I was a fan of this feature, and it’s not available in Lemmy.

Why is this great ?

This is a way to get a fresh view of your homepage. If you are infuriated because one of your favourite subreddit has too many posts about one subject, just downvote posts and forget about them.

Do you think that this could be easily implemented?

    I don’t think down voting is the right approach. I do think we need someway of not having our feed filled with stuff we don’t necessarily care about. Having said that, I also don’t like the idea of having to specify what I don’t care about. Maybe hide all read, but never hide Anything Up Voted.
