      Its interesting to see who gets to stay and who doesn’t. How many millions do we get from central America vs how many from western Europe?

        Ya know, that’s a good question.

        From the Pew Research Center:

        Meanwhile in the more geographically isolated U.S., about eight-in-ten came from the Americas, with about half from Mexico alone.

        Next question: why are so many immigrating the Americas?

          Well, theres probably multiple reasons for that.

          The first reason that comes to mind is theres a land connection. Makes illegally immigrating much easier when you don’t have to attempt a water landing.

          Theres also how screwed up most of central America is compared to the US.

            I mean, who am I to disagree? In fact, I’d love to agree because Central and South America’s land connection has facilitated close ties to the U.S. historically.
