I feel like the world used flip phones and used their phones exclusively for talking and texting. Blackberries were rare and browsing the internet on them was awful. The original iPhone kickstarted a paradigm shift of how phones were viewed. Now they’re computers and we do everything from ours phones.

They made our lives way easier, and they made our lives awful. And it’s all because of touch screen phones that became so demanded because the release of the iPhone and Steve Jobs skills at selling it.

I’m not saying in any way that iPhones are better than android phones, I’m saying the iPhone is what started this shift in how we live our lives.

Edit to say that you have the big screen thing backwards and I wonder your age and if you lived through that change. Apple tried to convince everyone that the original iPhones screen was big enough, then they increased it to 5” because androids phones were growing… it took Apple years longer Samsung and LG to make these huge screens.
