Seconding this. I hate seeing “Americans” being blamed and overgeneralized. “America,” referring to our political leaders, economic system, and establishment is a whole other thing and the perpetrators of all of this unnecessary, gratuitous, for-profit violence. Shit, most of it is against the American people on the day to day. Like denying people accessible healthcare, working us to death while hoarding the products of our labor, and allowing the slow, painful death of unhoused people, people with addictions, and can’t forget the environment.
