I use Wikipedia a LOT, but I use YouTube for hours every day and this is funny to me. Twice a year? You’re not outright boycotting, but you really find it so useless that you only go there twice a year? Wild.
Indeed. In first instance, I don’t really enjoy watching random videos. Additionally, if I look for technical tutorials or the likes, I prefer to get them in written format. Video is an extremely inefficient format for the kind of info I search on the internet.
There are so many topics that are easier to consume in writing than video.
Why would someone film a bunch of code? Now I can’t search it, scroll through it or even copy it.
