Modern Warfare 3 is out today, November 10, and already Activision has had to pull various multiplayer maps out of the game because of spawn points that were causing absolute carnage.
It’s not a technical issue, changing a spawn point on an editor is usually simple enough.
The issue is most likely that the map’s core design was around a certain set of spawn points which, most likely because of inadequate time for testing (remember how short the period was between this title and the previous in the series), needs to now be adjusted.
How complicated are spawn points? Seems like it would be just as easy to update the points rather than pull the whole maps.
