I was trying to search for and add 2meirl4meirl@lemmy.ml via the Memmy search function, however it did not find any results. My account is on the @lemm.ee instance.
After using the desktop browser to subscribe to the community, I note that the likes/comments are not displaying the correct figures as they would if I visited directly on the Lemmy.ml link.
Thought I’d call it out incase it was a bug.
It’s unfortunately an issue with Lemmy itself. Instances have limitations in what they actually see and how they connect and that is one of them. See my recent post; similar issue and cause.
Thanks for the info, I guess it makes sense but definitely seems like a gap! Funnily I recall coming across your post yesterday about your community when I was browsing so it’s come full circle.
