I find if I choose two radically different subjects, or genres, it is less challenging and doesn’t feel overwhelming. For instance, I was reading ‘The Republic’ by Plato and ‘The Nasty Bits’ by Anthony Bourdain last time.
Now I am reading ‘Prequel’ by Rachel Maddow (non-fiction) and ‘The Heaven & Earth Grocery Store’ by James McBride (fiction).
Are you a two-timer?
When you say two at once, are you saying you’re actively reading two books, so you’ll read one for a bit then read the other? Or are you saying you got yourself two kindles in front of you and are just going at it?
Lol. Two books in one kindle. Reading a chapter of one then switching to other and reading a chapter. Rinse. Repeat.
