              I’m an advocate for open source and free speech. That is why I am here at Lemmy. Just because there is an echo chamber, doesn’t mean it has to be that way. I thought open source was all about giving power back to the people? So now I can’t have that because my views are different from another group of people? And no I’m not going to those websites because they are in fact echo chambers on the opposite end of the spectrum. Right-wing folk that treat America like their religion.

                  If enlightening people on how dangerous this movement is makes me an idiot then so be it. Muhammad (ﷺ) was called many evil things but Alhamdulillah, Islam has been thriving since then and soon to be the largest religion in the world.
