I don’t have a full concept for it, but I had an idea for it bring a bukharan markhor since I have very minimal knowledge of Middle Eastern language. I had a plan for it to be an electric fighting type pseudo-legendary that has adjusted to the desert region with an ability similar to corrosion, but instead is an electric type version that does resisted damage to Earth types.
Well it’s funny that you mention that since I don’t recall that we have a markhor or similar Pokémon already (closest thing is probably Cobalion) and compared to my perhaps more “saturated” interpretation yours feels more to-the-point and more “Pokémon as animals”-y.
Since no one has dibs rights on fakemon concepts I’d say hey, go ahead with yours, I’d love to see what do you turn up with. Heck, if you want to go with it but hit obstacles on the way and want someone to take a look at the lore or ecology to help, just message me and we can figure something out (I’m p cheapo for a worldbuilding consultant, I mean I’m aroud on social forums around the internet… :p).
