Most of the communities I subscribed to, I was immediately approved but several of them are stuck pending. It seems the mod of this this community has never posted or commented before. Maybe they created it and then disappeared?
I actually figured it out. I can also post. I just wasn’t seeing them.
I had turned off “see read posts”. They must consider your own new post as “read” and hide them.
