    I generally don’t care for the so called “augmented reality” craze tech companies have been pushing these days. However, given that police body cams are clearly not gonna help, maybe we should all wear “AR” headsets that can get their own video recording? Unfortunately, even with concrete evidence, that doesn’t change the fact that our courts are also largely broken…

      The police can just shoot you for wearing the helmet and take their three-week paid vacation punishment for doing it.

        Well, exactly. Only hope is if you can setup some kinda automatic upload, but given that corporations operate by the bottom that they actually own our Internet devices and engineer them against our interests, good luck cracking your headset firmware or whatever, right?

          A couple of legal nonprofit have apps that automatically upload cellphone video. The ACLU’s Mobile Justice app automatically sends videos to their servers. Maybe that could be adapted to work with a headset.
