If it’s really bad you can alternate the two drugs every two hours (take ibuprofen, wait two hours, take acetaminophen, wait two hours, take ibuprofen, etc.). I was told this after getting my wisdom teeth taken out and still use the tip to this day. It prevents the drugs from wearing off after a while.

Please only do this in “emergencies” though.
