Anyone else feeling frustrated with routes? I went to a large garden the other day and there was only one route which was surprising based on the large amount of gyms and stops there.

Also not sure what the deal is with creating them. I added one and it was approved within minutes but another (where there are no other routes) has been sitting in “under review” for two weeks.

No frustration here. But that’s because there’s no routes either, so…

Routes are weird. I’ve had two approved and one of them I walk about once a week. It’s a loop, and the start and end points are next to each other, but the distance in between is measured by PoGo as 1.1km and in reality it’s only 1.0. So you have to walk past the end point and double-back to get credit for completion.

And don’t get me started on how easily overlooked the Zygarde cells are. They should be collected automatically once they pass through your circle, not “click on the tiny item that looks like a glitch”.

Yeah, I think the route rollout has been absolutely terrible. I live in Michigan’s capitol city, and so far I’ve only been able to find one route anywhere, and it’s a tour of a community college campus.

One of the best things about our city is the pedestrian trail system that goes everywhere, following the rivers. It would be perfect for routes, but I’m not level 40, and I probably won’t be for like a year, so I can’t make one. They really need to expand who can make them

I am quite lucky. I have 5 routes starting 20 meters from my home. It’s like a hub between different directions.

Update: The one route was finally approved yesterday, took about two weeks.
