Not really. The G8 was G7+Russia, not because they were in 8th place.
But the G7 itself is more of a “largest economies among countries we like”, since China and India also arent in it.
The only reason right now for Russia to remain in an ok economic shape is to pay more reparations after the war. Let’s also do to them what they did to us in Germany and take their railroads
Let’s take their cars and trucks instead, that would be much better for the climate.
