Alongside the usual questions, here are some optional discussion questions:
- What is the most valuable item in your music collection?
- Music aside, which idol do you think has the best acting skills?
- What concerts have you attended (non kpop concerts too)?
also please reply with any good discussion questions for future weeks here. i forgot to write down the ones i originally had for this week and i’m recovering from a 2 day hangover
For discussion questions, we could list some underrated K-pop artists? We could also ask about if we listen mainly to girl groups/boy groups/soloists, or a mix.
didn’t listen to much music last week. mainly just Turnstile’s Glow On album. otherwise the new (G)I-DLE album too
Concerts: i havent been to many because loud areas give me a headache and i have bad luck with strangers always somehow finding me and having me call an ambulance for their friend who’s passed out. i don’t mind helping people, but i don’t know why they pick me. the friends always say that they were in the front by the stage, and i’m usually towards the back, so that means they went across all the seats to find me. maybe i just look like a responsible guy? anyways, make sure to bring water to concerts and take breaks if you need them
Most valuable item: i have a copy of Yukika’s Soul Lady. spent months looking for it. at that time, i could only find like 1 seller on ebay. found a copy one day and had to significantly overbid 3 other people despite the copy already being on hold for someone else. fortunately the seller took my offer. it was my only favourite album that i didn’t have a copy of
best actress: IU
Most valuable item: I think that has to be the very first CD I owned which is Insomniac by Green Day.
Best acting skills: I have no idea! All the times I’ve seen an idol act are just in MVs and they’re usually all pretty not good, hah.
Concerts: I attended a Coheed and Cambria concert! It was so good. I want to see them again.
Listening to: Because of the concert I’ve been listrning to a lot of Coheed and Cambria and the opening act, Deafheaven. I’ve also been obsessed with the song “Treason” by Tinashe. I can’t get enough of it.
