I think your article was very thorough and am shocked that you didn’t catch in State’s opening statement that they did not dispute my guilt or innocence that they actually helped free me. The prosecutor that tried me, Sid Bell, has written 2 affidavits that he was wrong in prosecuting me. There are 2 criteria to meet in order for payment from The Legislature Claims Commission. 1- You have to be on the National list of Exonerated, which I am. 2- You have to have an affidavit from the Prosecutor stating your innocence. Which I have.

Hey, Mr Lively — and please give Ace a scratch behind the ear from me.

I didn’t write the article, only shared it here because it pissed me off, especially that lawyer Michael Dunham — “During closing statements, Dunham said evidence showed Lively was no worse off now than what he was in the years before prison.”

Only an asshole could say that. Maybe you wouldn’t have been a doctor or a priest, but nobody spends 14 years in prison and comes out no worse than going in. Fuck that Dunham guy.

You’ve met both requirements and I hope you’re a millionaire soon, man. Hugs if you’re a hugger, or a handshake if you’re not.

Hey, I figured out once I posted my reply that it was the original article. I’m still getting use to technology, ya know. Yea, State attorneys were exactly what you would think. He brought up my Dad that died in 97 in an automobile accident. Claiming my dad had alcohol in his system etc. None of that is true nor has ever been stated. That was part of his opening. Their own State expert Dr. Jackson said I was innocent as well and then during questioning they were trying to retry my case basically. It’s not a good look for State to kidnap me and then pour salt in the wounds at this last hearing. I really needed a much larger outcry from the public in my case. This could happen to anyone. I’m blessed to have my wife and family to support me. Hopefully, I’ll have some good news soon.

Why the heck would a prosecutor bring up your dad who died 25 years ago? Man, that’s just dumb and mean to do.

You want a public outcry, I would suggest (if you haven’t already) calling or emailing the “tip line” at your local newspaper and TV stations. You’ve been screwed over and they’re trying to keep screwing you, and a good news operation would want that story.

Good luck and another ear-scratch for Ace, man.
