Ouch I just stubbed my toe. Better bomb Iran about it. I burnt my mouth on my pizza rolls. Time to bomb Iran.

Trump gave Israeli national defense secrets to Russia, which would love US attention partially diverted from Ukraine, and who happens to be a close ally of Iran (Iran is supplying Russia with weaponry)

Iran is one of the main sponsors of Hamas. Iran has also been under US sanctions of varying degrees for about 45 years, so it would be happy should the US lose face or power.

I’m not saying Iran is responsible, but they were likely middlemen.

Them, Russia, Cuba. Used to be Venezuela, Libya, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, but our jackals already messed them up, so no need, now.

Frankly, when something happens in the Middle East, Iran does have a habit of being around the corner.

The entire region can essentially be divided into two loose coalitions dating back to the Cold War. The Saudi group, backed by the US, consisting of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UAE, Jordan, Kuwait, and Egypt; and the Iranian group, backed by Russian, consisting of Iran, Syria, Qatar, and a vast network of insurgents and militia groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis in Yemen. Oman maintains something of a neutral position and facilitates a lot of communication, while Iraq has been caught right in the middle. Turkey also portrays itself as a rational neutral third-party.

While all Islamic states tend to be nominally opposed to Israel, the Saudi coalition tends to be much more open to at least some limited cooperation with it. Jordan and Egypt extensively work with Israeli security, for instance, while Saudi Arabia and the UAE have been gradually establishing economic ties. This has all been encouraged by the United States.

Palestine represents a very sticky issue in mix of all this, and Iran uses it as a way to portray its enemies as traitors to the cause. It spends a lot of resources to support Hezbollah and Hamas, and it explicitly seeks the complete destruction of Israel. An Israel that actually manages to normalize relations with the Saudi coalition represents a huge threat to Iran’s influence and the balance of power, as Israel is a military and economic powerhouse supported by the United States, and so it is in the interests of Iran to harm Israel and turn the rest of the Muslim world against it.

They are the primary financiers of Hamas…

We still shouldn’t bomb them, however.

Hey check it out, this guy hasn’t heard of Franz Ferdinand! /s

As to not be rude or dismissive: the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand is generally credited with the start of World War I. The implication being that a world war has been started over a seemingly small event that had tumultuous consequences thereafter. The further implication being that we may already be past a Franz Ferdinand assassination type event and may be worryingly headlong into a path to large scale warfare once again.

So you are saying Iran has signed contracts with other nations that would oblige those nations to go to war with countries Iran is at war with?

Because the world is interconnected a lot more than it has ever been before. A single shooting in a very minor nation went from a terrorist attack to a full world war. The world is in a very precipitous state ATM. Many countries are looking for opportunities to take advantage of any weaknesses in world order to subjugate their neighbours. Now is not a good time to go gun totting frivolously.
