Both would be awesome, but I think I’d have to go with instruments.
Languages would indeed be wonderful for travelling and/or living in an area with a diverse population. And could also be leveraged for a new career (if I wanted a new one).
But the thought of being able to pick up any instrument (whether the common ones, or some weird unknown one) and play it proficiently sounds too fun to pass up.
