I’ve got a new PC build with Ryzen 5 5500. I first installed Windows 10 and immediately updated to Windows 11. Someone just told me a fresh Windows 11 install would be better. Is it worth it?

A fresh install, in theory, would always be better or preferred. That being said, Windows has improved a lot, so much so, that many users don’t reinstall the OS every 3-5 years like many did decades ago.

So if you don’t notice any problems, you’re probably okay. Still, it would’ve been better to just install Windows 11 from the start.

Thanks for the tip. While I think it’s fine, I’m doing a clean install since I only just set it up. If I don’t I’ll just keep wondering if I made a mistake.
