I was a clueless lib back then and even I was horrified by what those people were saying.
I think some of the issues that they had in Sweden and Germany around the holidays, where these assaults or alleged assaults happened were concerning and those that did them should be punished, but it was of course the right wing taking a real issue and running with it to close down the borders and “send them all back”
