Just wanted to share my excitement for my first solo camping trip of the year! My family and I go camping as often as we can in the summer months in the Midwest. I always take at least one solo trip. It’s nice to get out on your own, at your own pace and decompress from family life and work.

I just went on my first solo camping trip too this past weekend… Now that you are totally alone with no one to talk to, the sounds of nature and the wildlife will be breath taking…

I spotted a moose, eagle flying overhead with a fish in its talons, a pair of otters and heard much much more…

Let us know if you notice the difference between solo and non-solo camping

I definitely notice the difference when I’m alone. I do enjoy sharing the experience with my family, but it’s different when your alone. I sat for an hour in a secluded spot and saw so much wildlife. Hearing them chirp and communicate is beautiful.
