Lots of people complain about everything they learned memorized in school that they don’t use in their every day lives. Because they don’t have the critical thinking skills they should have been taught in school.

Lots of classes in school are to broaden your thinking ability and give you a sample of things you may want to pursue later in life. If kids aren’t taught these things before adulthood they’ll never know it’s something they could pursue.

It should also increase thinking and reasoning skills, no matter the subject, but that’s going to vary wildly depending on the quality of schooling they went through.
