I don’t know, I wish they had released Anyone For Doomsday and just stuck with the sci-fi metal shtick. I mean, the lead singer of Powerman 5000’s big brother is Rob Zombie and he’s been milking the horror shtick for decades. Powerman 5000 could’ve done the same thing for sci-fi. But I guess it wasn’t meant to be.
This song was mind blowing in 1999. This album holds up still, absolutely bangs from top to bottom.
Agreed. ‘Tonight The Stars Revolt!’ and ‘Anyone For Doomsday?’ were peak Powerman 5000 albums. They were awesome.

For sure, leaning into something would’ve worked. IMHO a group that probably didn’t get the chance to show their full potential, either way
