Mario got so many fucking chances even till he was in France he played in top teams like Nice/Marseille. Because he had such brilliance. I love Balotelli more than most and I’ve always held an interest in his career arc. He is sometimes disappointing, but never uninteresting. I 100% believe the follies of his youth have led him to be wise and insightful. I don’t rate Balo but balo is right. It was a low blow. Balo was in most cases mentally fragile, this may have really destroyed his career and his mindset towards the game. If you study psychology then you know a kid like that would not function well playing for a country like Italy. Hell Totti and most Italian fans have him hell, so it’s easy to act out.
I think he would have a better career had he opted to play for Ghana instead.
