minus-squarecallouscomiclinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up19arrow-down3·1 year agoDon’t think Israel needs any help.
minus-squareRedfugee@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up13·1 year ago… except for the annual aid they already get from the US?
minus-squareS_204@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up5arrow-down4·1 year agoWhat % of Israel’s budget do you think the US gives them? Of that % how much do you think is tied to purchases of American weapons?
minus-squareHandBreadedTools@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoApparently the US gives military grants that amount to about 16% of Israel’s total military budget. That’s kind of a lot, if I’m reading it correctly.
minus-squareS_204@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1arrow-down2·1 year agoIIRC it’s a bit less than that, something like 3b of 36b. To allow the US easy access to intelligence, operational bases and feeding the military industrial complex, that’s really not a ton of cash for the US…
