Have any of you actually seen something that makes you think Raya is a better keeper? Actually curious cause I don’t necessarily believe he is, certainly not with the ball at his feet

He’s a better long passer. Especially under pressure, but everything else, I prefer Ramsdale. Only time will tell though.

@rishado I think it was Tim Stillman who pointed out that he isn’t as quick to resort to aimless long balls. Presumably Arteta wants his keeper to play this way.

It feels like despite Ramsdale’s outward image when talking shit at rival fans, he’s not quite confident enough in his own abilities to stay calm in the way that Raya does at that kinda LCB ish position. That might be the factor here.

Lmfao a professional athlete is suffering. Because he cant play sports. Sucks to suck I hope he experiences actual suffering.

Fans suffer when their team loses. People suffer when they lose a family member or are fired from their job. It’s not a competition as to who suffers more. Have some empathy.

I do the job I actually like, and it hurts when I have to do some unrelated shit instead for a while, because my employer says so. Why would professional athletes be different? Money doesn’t justify everything.

Also, that quote is taken out of context.
