Newly released data from the FBI shows hate crimes in 2022 reached an all-time high since the agency began tracking such incidents, up nearly 7% from 2021.

Experts who spoke with the BBC say a host of factors, including aggressive political rhetoric and social media, have contributed to this uptick in violence - and they worry a heated upcoming presidential campaign season and violence in the Middle East could worsen the trend.

Yes, no one has ever started acting like terrorists because of the wholesale slaughter of their population.

    Pointedly doesn’t look at Hamas

You have a point, but they’re already acting like terrorists. I’m not going to pretend I have a solution, but trump still walking free is a huge fucking problem.

It’s not the ones acting like terrorists, it’s the ones sitting on the sidelines waiting to see what happens.

Trump didn’t get a handful of votes in the last election, he got nearly 75 million. Only some are truly radicalized now, you think literally coming after people like all their conspiracy theories state is going to make them think about moving to your side?

I mean, it’s literally just the same kind of terrorism these chucklefucks are trying to perpetrate. Is it changing your mind about your opinions? No? Then what makes you think it’d change theirs?
