I’ve found that you can play Rust on servers on linux. The only caveat is that the server has to either have EAC turned off or have their own AC, which on official servers is very rare. But its a lot more common on cracked servers (ArabArust for example). So if you really want to play Rust, you can. Just search cracked rust servers and look out for “Anti-Cheat” or something and you’ll get one.

You’ll also find Rust in the Linux Kernel. Of course you have to turn EAC ripper off, that is a Microsoft program and won’t run in Linux natively.

Am I missing something here? Rust on the Linux Kernel is in reference to the programming language, not the game so I can’t tell if you’re mistaking the OP’s topic or I’m missing your sarcasm.

    This is great news!

Now I can be called a constant string of the most vile racial slurs and killed repeatedly by dudes in heavy armor with AKs on Linux, just like in Windows.

    The future is amazing.
