No problem that merits legislating against it (looks at title of OP) and certainly no problem that merits it being such a focus of the right-wing culture wars.

I say as I’ve said repeatedly - no problem you or anyone else has is caused by someone wanting to be called they. The only problem that exists is the inability of the right to live and let live. (As is true of many other topics.)

I’d use “they/them” pronouns if I’m asked to out of respect to another human being, but that won’t make me stop thinking that usage is bs

Legal documents (what the article is about) must be uniform, exactly the opposite to “custom pronouns”
I don’t actually care about the gender of the applicant, except in very special cases.
