If everyone just said no in the other comment box they’d at least have a “oh shit everyone really hates this” moment before they went back to ignoring it.
If they realize people poisoned the data, they can’t use it, thus ruining the survey. If they don’t realize people poisoned the data, they’ll use it wrong and could end up messing stuff up even more.
No you’re assuming they can’t use it. Why do you think they would give a shit? They can still use it because, again, only a tiny tiny portion of users are doing it so it doesn’t poison their data. Even if it did, it’d just mean that the actions they take that are informed by said data would make things worse for users. Pointless.
