I got invited to go to a concert for a band I really like and meet them backstage. Turned it down to stay in. To make matters worse, I was not invited by a friend or someone who worked at the venue. I was invited by the band themselves.
Massive massive regremt. Immediately regretted it the day after but even more so when that band has gone on to get a decent amount of popularity. Lawrence. Highly recommend. Great music. Kinda like a jazz-funk-pop sorta combination. The two lead singers were both embedded into the Colbert Late Show band for a bit.
I had tickets for a show last Saturday night. I sorta tried to talk us out of going by playing YouTube vids of recent live shows for my partner. She liked them, so we went and I had a great time. But I so often want to just stay home when the moment arrives.
