I hate how pro israel our corporations are in the west. Let these palestinians live man, that doesn’t we support terrorism. And when we fight occupying countries it’s fighting for freedom but when israel occupies palestine and fucks up the palestinians for decades they’re the heroes. Did people forget what happened there, the israelis kicked out the palestinians first

Germany’s collective guilt over the Holocaust has gone way, way, way overboard. There’s a pretty huge gap between a) opposing Israeli war crimes and their indiscriminate murder of innocent civilians; and b) hating Jews and wanting them exterminated. It is not anti-Semitic to oppose the actions of the state of Israel; indeed, many Jews are opposed to them.

Lmao not even the Japanese have this much guilt for their war crimes in WW2, especially in China like the rape of nanking. It’s actually insane lol.

Or even the Americans with their disgusting history of war and how countries like Vietnam and Iraq (esspecially falujah) still suffers to this day from the weapons the US used almost 60 and 20 years ago, respectively.

Or Namibians. Germany clearly feels comfortable to lecture Namibians, despite the troubling history of colonization and the Herero and Namaqua genocide.

For example, a German envoy complained to the Namibian president about the number of Chinese people in Namibia in relation to the number of German people in Namibia (totally not racist or neocolonial).

It’s kinda crazy that Roma were also exterminated and victim to the Holocaust but the UN didn’t step in and give them a parcel of land in South Asia to ethnically cleanse

You lot don’t even give a toss about jews you consider inferior such as Ethiopian Jews. You lot were sterilizing their women and mistreating them and you still have the gall to act like Israel is some bastion of justice and equality.

Typical of the German establishment attitude throughout all of this. For some reason they think they can alleviate their supposed collective guilt in fucking up one ethnic group by now unconditionally standing behind this group no matter what their state has turned into, even if it means fucking up another group, and even finding it not problematic at all to clamp down on the freedom of expression everywhere in the society on this topic and turning a blind eye to what’s happening right now to make them feel better and protect their sense of conscience (just like what they did in WWII). The sheer irony. Eternal tragicomedy that is the humanity smh.

(BTW I see that the content of his initial deleted post could have been interpreted as hate speech, on which I don’t have enough knowledge to ascertain if he really meant that. (Also took a while just to find out what the post really said, with current reports not mentioning that, which is not helpful.) This and other cases do generally reflect the current situation in Germany though.)

Something is seriously wrong with Germany. Why can’t a player express his opinion freely? It is not like he supports Nazi or anything.

Because he supports the extinction of Israel. There are just certain phrases you can’t use. It’s the same with certain phrases used by the Nazis even if they don’t mean that much context free.
