For me it makes me uncomfortable because my brain can not imagine what it feels like to “not be conscious forever”.
I can’t say when my life started, I am just “here”. There is no well defined beginning, just memories slowly starting and people assuring me I was born at some point. But really, from my perspective, my consciousness was always there.
I can not imagine what the end of me and my mind looks like and yes, that feeling is uncomfortable, maybe even a bit scary.
