    Thats on the app makers/advertising companies.

    There is a legitimate interest in making these ads, but they shouldn’t be targeted at children, and i don’t think Israel wants to target this advertising campaign at children either.

      Not necessarily. Both sides have the possibilities to opt out. Neither bothered to do it. Besides the fact that advertisers in general can choose specific target audiences according to metrics such as age brackets. That Israel’s relevant governmental agency didn’t bother to specify that their ads weren’t suited for certain audiences is entirely on them.

        Pretty darn Shure the app makers just checked every advertising group. The advertising party has to opt in, it costs extra. I’ve seen these apps play porn ads, like they were literally all over YouTube and YouTube kids for some time.
