      Now that would set a bad precedent. Smaller companies would see that and think that they don’t have to lay off half of their staff every few years to keep line going 📈

      That would require unquenchable greed to somehow be quenched. Either the greed of shareholders or the politicians who were raised from birth to ensure the money keeps flowing upwards.
