Yeah, I always thought it was too. My hondas and VW definitely turn the lights on when the wipers are on no matter how bright it is outside, as it should be. I was shocked when I noticed a Tesla with no lights on, which made me realize my lights were off. It’s been a feature my last five cars have had, so I absolutely took it for granted.
